The transit vehicle space, like most spaces in developed areas is depleted of naturally occurring ions. International testing bodies have demonstrated the effectiveness and efficacy of elevated concentrations for suppressing and treating various air contaminants.

Using CCT in conjunction with filter media allows an air cleaning strategy for transit vehicles which helps to address small particles in the breathing zone.

There are several goals of the elevated concentrations:

1.) Help remove small particles from breathing space.

2.) Help treat aerosolized microbiological contaminants

3.) Reduce odors through gas disassociation.

4.) Dust particles bind together and increase weight which helps to make them settle rather than cycle continuously through the HVAC system.

Transit vehicles undergo routine cleaning at the end of the day where the particles on the floor are swept and/or vacuumed out.

CCT tests the concentrations before and after to confirm product operation.
